Hello and welcome on How We Arch, a platform for architects aspiring to independence.
We always knew that the goal for us is to have our own office, but the way of achieving that always seamed like a big unknown/blank. Questions like where to start, what are the actual steps to take and when could we afford it were stopping us from doing anything.
Not knowing which steps to take stopped us from taking any steps at all.
To finally get things moving, we commited to document the process of (hopefully) becoming independent architects, founding our own, viable architectural company.
But it is not just about us, it is about answering all of the questions that you don’t even know to ask and hopefully helping others by putting together a step by step actionable plan, enabling also others to fulfill their dream.
As there is surely not just one right way to do it, we decided to interview as many founders as possible and ask how their beginings looked like.
